We are registered with the prestigious Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and hold a tax agent license under Section 153 of the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967. Additionally, we are certified trainers endorsed by HRDF and regularly conduct training sessions through the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.. As a testament to our commitment to excellence, we are proud members of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).

Our founder

Poovarni Rajagopal Chartered Accountant MIA, FCCA

Poovarni Rajagopal, is recognised for her specialisation in income tax coupled with a dynamic expertise in navigating the complexities of indirect tax compliance and advisory services. With over two decades of experience, she stands as the driving force behind Invatex Consulting Sdn Bhd, leading the charge in providing innovative solutions in the ever-evolving landscape of taxation.

As a licensed tax practitioner under the Ministry of Finance and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Poovarni brings a forward-thinking approach to her role, actively shaping the direction of tax consultancy. Her membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and fellowship with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA) underscore her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends.

Poovarni’s journey through the Big Fours has enriched her with a diverse skill set encompassing Malaysia inbound and outbound investments, transfer pricing, audit, corporate finance, liquidation, and receivership. Her tenure as the head of tax for a  public listed company showcases her ability to drive impactful change in dynamic environments.

Clients across diverse sectors, including aviation, manufacturing, retail, duty-free retail, transportation, plantation, automotive, and real estate, benefit from Poovarni’s expertise. Notably, her proficiency extends to resolving intricate tax investigations and audit matters with the Inland Revenue Board, solidifying her reputation as a go-to authority in the field.
